Bio

Mrs. Holcomb is beginning her fifth year at Furlow Charter School. While at Furlow, she has been teaching all academic subjects in fourth and fifth grade. She is excited to be returning to 4th grade this year. Most recently, Mrs. Holcomb was named the Teacher of the Year for the 2022-2023 school year! She also just completed coursework to earn her Ed. Specialist degree in Elementary Education from Georgia Southwestern State University.

Mrs. Holcomb lives in Leesburg, GA, with her husband and three children, who also attend Furlow Charter School in middle and high grades. Mrs. Holcomb's favorite child is her 10-year-old pomapoo, Macy. Her favorite subjects are social studies and grammar. Hobbies she enjoys while not at school include reading, playing board games, going to church, spending time with her family, going to the beach, and attending social events with friends.
