Welcome! I am Sundai Tanner. I have been teaching at Furlow Charter School since its opening in 2015. I love teaching and watching my students learn and grow. I am certified in secondary English Language Arts (ELA) and middle grades Social Studies (SS). I am also Gifted Certified and Reading Endorsed. 

I am currently serving as the Middle School ELA REP advisor. I sponsor Furlow Charter School's Jr. and Sr. Beta Club along with Mrs. Laura Fendley and Mrs. Natalie Stephens. I am a member of the National Council of Teachers of English (NCTE). 

I have been married to my favorite guy since 1993, and we have two children. I enjoy reading and writing; however, I especially enjoy spending time with my family. They are my world. I enjoy canning with my grandmother, being outdoors, and gardening. I love sports, and football is my favorite. Go Dawgs!
